Founded in 1999 by Mike Saltijeral , IFI has catapulted as the leading Hispanic-owned fencing company in Chicago. In 2003, the city of Chicago certified IFI as a general contractor. With projects ranging from the Chicago Transit Authority Blue Line to the rehabilitation of seventy-five units with the Chicago Housing Authority. IFI aggressively pushes to the next level in quality service and craftsmanship.

Market Focus

IFI-Group (Industrial Fence, Inc. & IFI Construction) is a fencing fabricator/installer, general contractor/construction manager that focuses on the commercial market. Our target market is developers and public sector entities developing commercial, healthcare, senior housing, affordable housing, and market-rate housing projects. We also have experience in completing work at schools and park district facilities.

Geographical Focus

Our geographical market includes the Chicago Metropolitan area, which consists of Cook County and the surrounding counties of DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, and Will. On desirable projects, we may exceed these boundaries.
